well... its been awhile. x]
At this moment in time, my brain is a muddled mess of crap that never seems to disappear.
So stuffs has happened this past week... Last Saturday was my cousin's wedding in the Cities. He had/has some sorta stomach issue where he can't eat/digest a whole lot of food, and he had a surgery to fix it that tends to make him light-headed. At the wedding, that resulted in halting the ceremony for 10-20 minutes because he almost passed out. o.o;; (and he's 6' 10", so if he goes down, he'll go down hard) And so we attended our first sit-down wedding. ^^ Both the bride and groom got pretty white folding chairs for the rest of the ceremony, and yeah... At the reception the majority of people there were from the bride's side (not our side) of the family, so the Petersens just kinda hung out separate from everyone once we had eaten. 'twas fun... x] (oh and we had to take my g-ma with on the way down and back... annoying. -.-)
Then mom left Sunday afternoon until Wednesday night to go to Rochester. Somehow we managed to survive...
Monday night was the band concert. Overall went really good, I think, except for the part of me not especially liking the shirt I came in... *sigh* whatever.
Tuesday night was chaotic for me. I had dog project at 7:30, and before that dad had called saying he wanted me to bring him some sandwiches in the field. Problem was, I didn't know where "the field" was so I ended up getting lost 3 times before I found him. sweatdrop Surprisingly Garth was relatively fine with being in his kennel in the car while I drove... Anyways once at dog project, I was rather surprised to see Steve H. there (he explained to me later why he was there... someone he knows is showing their dog so he thought he'd pop by and say hi I s'pose...(and I happen to be good friends with them lol)). Garth was relatively cooperative, but towards the end he didn't ever want to sit down, so I was getting really irritated with him. By this tuesday, we have to master the heel and the automatic sit when I stop. urgg and its Sunday already...
Wednesday was fun. Mrs. A. invited me to go to this art show thing (think I've talked about going before...?) and on the way there, we almost got lost, so we asked an old farmer person which way to go. xD And then once we got there, our group (8 of us in the van) split up into the different seminars we were supposed to go to. Erica T. and I went to the songwriting one, and a few minutes after we came in, Chelsey M. and Steph O. walked in and said that their class only had room for one more person and they wanted to be together and the songwriting class was the only class that had two open spots. (*gasps for air*) We got to write our own song, and then we made music for it and recorded it. I didn't want to sing mine, and I was utterly lost as to music parts, so I got a (cute) guy named Tanner to play guitar while another girl (Amber) sang my song. Yay! =3 I'm excited: the instructor lady said that she'd burn our song onto a disk, and then send it to us. So it should arrive any day! ^^
hmmm Thursday I pretty much felt like crap. I felt like I was drowning in homework and other things to do.......... bah. Dx
Friday was loose- finished my art car, in history got the workings for a FREAKING HUGE TEST on Tuesday... ( ) and after school I stayed with Karen to practice the song that I discovered she's doing a solo on for the concert tomorrow night. *sigh* We decided on 100 Years (which I never quite did learn the whole way through... sweatdrop )... We'll see how that goes.
Then yesterday was fun. In the morning, I drove Karen and I to the Willmar High School where we met with the rest of the church youth group to clean the ditches. Was actually pretty interesting... Sara was designated as the "pee-bottle picker-upper" (and was wondering why she got that position lol), Karen accidentally threw a rock at Heather, and yeah. x] Then after that we went to Pizza Ranch for lunch, and from there I followed the VDE's to their home. I decided Beth could help Karen and I come up with a Mother's day gift (which we did- typed out a poem for her and made a picture frame) and we could help her set up for a rummage sale she's having next weekend. Well after awhile, Karen told me she had to be home by 6, so I drove her home, then mom made me bring Lonnie with when I went back to VDE's for a bonfire (woot). They had some business to talk with Karen about... (and yes, I know what it is. I just choose not to say because its not worth it.)
Anyways once I got back to their place, I ended up helping Caleb and one of his friends (who looks/sounds like a combination of about 3 different guys i know o.O; wink make a flag for their school project, then I just kinda lazed around, drove Austin to Cub to buy hot dogs and buns (he used self check-out xD), then ate a hot dog from the fire, waited until Karen came back (and the 'rents picked lonnie up again), then yeah... Once Karen got there we were sword fighting with these wicked awesome wooden swords, and I accidentally hit her in the head. xD she didn't say anything to it, though, since she figured she deserved it for hitting Heather in the head earlier that day. xD Sara also popped by, and it was getting cold out, so we all went inside and watched Jackass (the Movie?) (friggin' hilarious- at some points I was laughing so hard I was crying) until 11.
*listens outside* oh yeah- Lonnie got a new dirtbike. His old one was a piece of crap apparently, so we traded it in, and this new one is huge. I want to learn how to drive it, but now mom is saying I can't because its too big... *sigh* screw that I wanna learn anyways. x]
And like I had said earlier, tomorrow night is the choir concert. I also got roped into turning pages for Lindsey when she plays, so I'll keep busy. ^^ Oh yeah and tonight the FFA's having some sorta pot luck thing... dunno if I'll go or not... we'll have to see. ... *muses* oh and Wednesday is some sort of science field trip to Epitopix. Davis is bring her college bio class along, and 13 from our class. *grins* sounds like fun...
Otherwise hopefully this week settles down... I'm sick of all this stuff going on. It was even to the point on Saturday morning where I just naturally woke up at 4:45 and started reviewing what homework I had to do that morning and if I could sleep in a little later, then I remembered it was Saturday... sweatdrop
Still got lots to do, though: study like heck for that history test (the Jennas yet again have conquered the rest of the class haha- we got answers to the test. xP), work on art, think of a speech to do for english (I have no idea. Dx) , aaand yeah. Oh and health was fun on Friday- we did that thing where one person in the class that was "infected with HIV" (some sorta chemical in a cup of water) and then we had to "exchange body fluids" with different people like 3 different times and see how many people had gotten HIV by the end. Jordan ended up starting with it, and then he gave it to Jenna, who gave it to me. xD
*shivers* I wanna take a nap so bad now... and there's soo much freaking s**t to do... urgggggggg *bangs head on desk*
