You fade and I glimpse
You, Temptress of Twilit Skies.
Your beams sooth the mind,
Though the mind was long ago lost.
I glimpse you through
Blinds of my imprisonment.
Through eyes unworthy, yet so wanting.
Cast aside by those long gone,
Your power once nearly lost
Waxing carefully—
A timidly precocious flower.
The eyes of time and wisdom are yours,
For you were before
That which is so “honored”.
My Lady, I whisper
And courtesy to the near lost mother.
Grant me peace and light my way,
For your children have lost their minds
So errant and horrid
In deed and manner,
That I am ashamed
To call them my blood.
Were I more like you,
Forgiveness would be sought
And fear and anger released.
But I stand at a crossroads, Mother dear
And I know not which path to take.
I have indeed lost my own way,
Let me reclaim what was to be mine
And carry on my unknown mission.
This life so confusing in
Its simple complexity
That I scarce know what to do or say.
I reach with the desire of a child—
Save me err I go too far astray.
I was on Gaia one night and looked out my window to see the moon flitting through the clouds. This was the result ^^
