i had to do inventor for a summer program that i had worked at last year. all the supplies that had been in *my* arts & crafts box very kept organized. until a big event and outside forces wrecked it all. then i was not there at the last week to organize it and store it. so i was not looking forward to this....
well they were stored in this creepy cave basement room, in the basement of the church i work at. the after school program for at risk youth.
the supplies were all in various boxes and were moved out on to the tables. well i am going through everything and i get to the big box that had loose tubs of glitter glue pens. i open it up and it was a complete mess! i was sitting there trying to figure out how they could get wrecked that badly in a week. i am holding a tube that has been eaten away and it hit me.......the church had mice!
they ate a third of the box of glitter glue pens!! they really attacked them the bottoms were eaten of and half of the tubes. some had teeth marks on the top so they had figured out that they needed to eat from the bottom.
well the glitter glue is "non toxic" i seriously doubt that it would apply to mice. i wonder if that is what ultimately did them in since they just disappeared.
what a way to go, hopped up on glitter glue. how glamarous of a death. i wonder if they were stagering around and seeing stars!

i still can not stop giggling about it.
well the inventory wound up being easier than it looked.
and i found out mice will eat glitter glue.....
