*FINALLY!!!! after that little episode with the ladies of Oberon, we now go to the historic city of Durem, where the starship, Titania is docked. within its walls is the lovely AI, Lyd, a bunch of rock music, and our wonderful gentlemen from episodes ago! it seems that they have caught wind of the Race to Space, too*

hideo: what do you think?

eric: about what?

hideo: you know, about naming the Node 3.

eric: oh, i forgot about that. what do you think, mamo?

mamoru: honestly, i don't really care. just as long as they don't name it something stupid.

eric: ...like Xenu?

mamoru: yeah, man, there you go. *please forgive us if we offend Scientologists*

hideo: well, Gaia's in the race, who else?

*the computer activates and Lyd begins speaking (finally!)*

Lyd: well, if i had to guess, Gaia has to go up against many contenders. various suggestions have been named, including MyYearbook, Synergy, Vision, Xenu of course, SocialVibe, Buddy, and...Colbert.

eric: wait, are you talking about Stephen Colbert?

Lyd: of course i am. there's no one else who has that much precedence. also, he's currently in the lead.

eric: that's good.

mamoru: what do you mean?

eric: well, to tell you the truth, i went on that site the other day and, sorta, voted for him.

mamoru: you WHAT?l?!

*just then, lucian-teichou barges in, saying:*

lucian: HOW COULD YOU DO THAT??!!

mamoru: why do you care?

lucian: well, the other day, i went in and suggested Gaia. it is our home.

eric: why would you do that? there's lots of stuff called Gaia.

lucian: well, there's lots of stuff named after Colbert, too, you know.

hideo: like what?

lucian: well, there's an elephant seal xd , a spider, a turtle, and a bunch of other things i forgot to mention!

eric: those were all just animals.

lucian: yeah, well, that's all i could think of!

eric: whatever, i'm putting the bet on Colbert. DEATH TO GAIA! (not really wink )

lucian: well, my money's on Gaia. DEATH TO COLBERT! (not really, we really like your show wink )

hideo: Gaia didn't have a New York Times bestseller, so HA!

mamoru: that's not a reason not to vote for Gaia! so what if he's written a book? it's not like he was mentioned in Time magazine...which Gaia was! so there!

Lyd: you children are going to be the malfunction of me. why don't you go to the NASA website and vote? just click 'suggest your own' and type in your suggestion. *shows the website on the computerI*

lucian: thanks, Lyd!

Lyd: no problem, lucian-teichou. anything to resolve this stupid debate once and for all.

mamoru: remember two friends and anyone else who was crazy enough to read this, vote for Gaia!

eric: oh please! vote for Colbert! he's already dishonored already!

lucian and mamoru: Gaia!

eric and hideo: Colbert!!

*i'll do it again, what will happen when voting closes on March 20? what name for the ISS Node 3 will NASA announce next month? will the might of the Gaians be enough to ensure victory, or will the right-wing audacity of the Colbert Nation champion the day? remember, only you can decide so i can write their reactions and not have to vote myself!! unfortunately, i'm not allowed to get on either side crying *
