Hey you guys! I'm back from the depths of the arenas to bring my love (or spite, it depends how you see it xD) to all you voters and critics! First, I shall give the commandments!
heart UPDATE!! I edited Commandment XI in the Commandments of Critics. Lol I changed the numbers to Roman Numerals; if you can't understand them go here.

The Commandments of Ratings:
I. Thou shalt not down-rate out of spite for character, person, or idea.
II. Thou shalt not completely down-rate to one or two because of the avatar's gender.
III. Thou shalt not rate without reading the description.
IV. Thou shalt not rate if you do not have an image or out-of-the-book description when you are not sure what a character looks like; you shall skip it or click an avatar in the spotlight.
V. Thou shalt not rate random avatars a random number for no reason.
VI. Thou shalt not down-rate for a bad description.
VII. Thou shalt not down-rate without a reason.
VII. Thou shalt not accept bribes.
IX. Thou shalt not up-rate just because you like the person or character; up-rating for a creative idea is fine.
X. Thou shalt not create more accounts to vote for you're own entry.
XI. Thou shalt not threaten others to vote for your entry or others.

The Commandments of Critic's comments(all commandments of voting apply):
I. Thou shalt not completely bash a character or person in a comment.
II. Thou shalt not leave a comment that only states your rating, without some explanation why.
III. Thou shalt not spam the comments with advertisements or random junk; unless the ad is a simple "please vote back!" after rating the avatar.
IV. Thou shalt not comment stating the description is wrong without looking the information up, or having solid proof.
V. Thou shalt not be rude to other commenters.
VI. Thou shalt not PM the avatar creator to tell them what you think of their avatar; unless it says they have potential and give them ideas.
VII. Thou shalt not stalk avatar creators because you like or dislike their avatar; you may ask them to be friends and such.
VIII. Thou shalt not PM avatar contestants to harass them about their avatar, this intertwines with the seventh commandment.
IX. Thou shalt not PM other commenters to harass them, insult them, or tell them they are wrong or mean. (Harassing only, other forms such as politely informing is fine)
X. Thou shalt not steal ideas for themselves.
XI. Thou shalt not have only insults without constructive criticism.
