Oh ye gods. I'm rowing at a regatta in Dorney Lake tomorrow....
It's been moved from Henley because apparently it will be 'unrowable' there...
makes you wonder, the weather at Dorney Lake isn't going to be exactly lovely then is it?
And last time i was rowing there, it was intolerably WET and MUDDY.
I'm taking a lot of plastic bags, binliners and spare clothes this time.
And yet another thing, I found out that we're going to have to row up and down the lake TWICE because it's only 2000m and the original course at Henley was 3500m or something.Damn rowing. And I bet we capsize.
Although, this time I'm in an octo, so hopefully there won't even be a mutiny this time, let alone as catastrophic a one as i had when we were in a quad. All in all though, I'm hoping it gets called off for bad weather.... or we lose all our boats and can't row.... or SOMETHING.
