So my mom has been teasing me with getting a puppy for so many years now. Prolly for about 12 years. Recently I have been able to get some money together but still she wouldn't get one. She said she thought it was better to wait.
Well one thing led to another and all of a sudden about a week ago she calls me and says she is getting an aussie shepherd puppy. Ugh, I thought to myself, this woman is trying to tease me. So turns out she wasn't.
Well a few days later she calls and tells me that some old people have already put a deposit on the female. Rude. We are not so into male dogs. So she asks if I want a male. I tell her I dunno, and that I would have to see them first.
A day or so later she decided she didn't want that big of a dog so she told me to start looking for a mini aussie puppy for sale in out area. Well I dunno if you have ever tried but it is hell trying to find puppies on the internet.
So after going through a million and a half ads I finally stumble apon an ad that is for puppies in Dallas Oregon. Not too far from my mothers house. The one downfall was that the puppies didn't appear to be very cute to me.
Anyways I decided we should go see them before I made any decisions. so we drive for what seems like an eternity, but was only a few miles, and we pull down their pot hole ridden driveway. I mean this thing looked like it had a run in with puberty and lost. My mom swerved between them, while I was practically jumping out of my seat in anticipation.
We pull up and about four dogs greet us. Two boston terriers and two mini aussies. The aussies are beautiful. They are merles. One is a blue merle and one is red. The owner greets my mother, as I greet the dogs. The house looks nice the dogs look healthy. Thats a good sign.
Christina is her name. She tells us to follow her. I look down into the puppy bed and there they are. The cutest damn things ever. I pick up the red one, she is the bigger of the two, and snuggle her close. I love her already. My mother picks up the black one. I already know she prefers that one. We spend some time with them and my mom tells me to choose. I want both honestly, so I tell her so. She says we can only have one but I can already see her wavering.
"I'll pay for one and a half puppies... you only have to pay for one." I blurt out. A painful look crosses her face. I can tell she really wants them. Still she tells me no, and asks me to choose one. She is already attached to the black one, I can tell. I wait a while biding my time. The more time she spends with it the better off I will be.
After about ten more minutes she tells me to choose again. I say the red one. She grimaces and tells Christina what one we want. I am elated, finally after all these year a triumph for me. Christina gets about half way through the paper work and my mom decides we can handle both. I smile, this is awesome. Of course I will have to pay for the puppies and then when they are ready the vet bills and dog supplies, but I have a feeling this is something that is for the better.
I can't wait to pick them up on the tenth of march. Yay. And now sence you held out this long I give you puppy pics! Horray.
Them noming on my hand. So cute.
Until next time. wink
