Also, please check out this trailer for the game here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1us0KFcrCYM ...I will be referring to the trailer a lot here.
Finished watching it? Then let's get started.
Sheena's Theories
Here's how I will organize things. Every sub title will be a character name. Underneath that will be my theory on what their role is to be. Simple enough, isn't it? Although you may need to re-read them a couple of times, as they can get quite complicated. I'll do my best to explain them though.
Ven
This guy is quite a mystery. He bears a striking resemblance to Roxas (Sora's Nobody), but he is called Ven. He can also wield the keyblade. Who exactly is he, you ask? Here's my theory:
Ven is not a Nobody but a Somebody. However, from Terra's worrying and Xehanort's speech, Ven may be danger of losing his heart or has already lost it. Not wanting for his friend to fade away, Terra put Ven inside Sora. (Don't ask me how, let's just say he did) This would explain one of the reasons why Sora is able to use the keyblade. Also, Ven's name means "air", and Sora's name means "sky". There definitely is a connection between the two. Another thing to note is when Sora loses his heart and creates Roxas, Roxas looks like Ven. My theory there is Roxas is a part of Sora AND Ven. Confused and/or doubtful? You probably are. Is this possible? That's up to you to decide. ;D
Terra
Terra is Roxas' best male friend and is also a keyblader. But in other trailers (Look them up on Youtube), Terra's inner darkness seems to be growing stronger. In this trailer I posted, Xehanort claims that, "Those that submit to darkness...[a]re not qualified to wield the keyblade." Sound familiar? It's the same thing that happened to Riku, way back in the first Kingdom Hearts game! Riku was supposed to be the keyblade master, but there was too much darkness in his heart, and so that role was passed to Sora. I believe Terra might have contributed to towards this. How?
In my theory, Terra put Ven into Sora so Ven would not lose his heart. Terra wanted to watch over Ven/Sora by his side, so he put himself into Riku. If this happened, Riku gained the ability to wield the keyblade, but his darkness has grown stronger. Riku's name means something ground related, and Terra's name means "earth". Are you getting this now? I'm trying to explain the best I can. ^^;
Aqua
Aqua is Ven's best female friend and is also a friend to Terra. She also has the ability to wield the keyblade too. There's really not much to say about her, as there's not enough information on her and she doesn't appear very much in the trailers on Youtube.
However, in my theory, Aqua did the same thing as Terra. She too, wanted to watch over Ven, so she put herself inside Kairi. This would explain why Kairi can wield the keyblade too. Aqua's name means "water", and Kairi's name means "sea or ocean". CONNECTION~! However, I can see the fault in this theory; Namine (Kairi's Nobody) looks nothing like Aqua. I have no idea why this may be. =/
I'm not completely finished with this theory (still need to discuss what's up with Xehanort and the red and black guy), so I'm stopping here for now. Feel free to leave comments or question my theory so far. ^^ Thanks for listening!
