*for some strange reason, himeko is painting the entire starship in 'lovey dovey' colors*

Ryd: may i ask, what is it that you are doing, himeko-senpai?

himeko: well, Ryd, it's Valentine's Day and i want to do something special.

Ryd: such as...

himeko: trying to find yukiko's fiance.

Ryd: he lives in a faraway land. how will you find him?

himeko: well, he said that he was coming to Barton for Valentine's Day. i don't know why, but i guess it's to meet yukiko. maybe she can find someone for luna.

Ryd: how is this man going to find someone for luna-teichou?

himeko: he's bringing friends over. i'm sure he'll find someone for her!

Ryd: i hope you're right, himeko-senpai.

*in downtown Barton, near the jewelry store, four boys are walking around, seemingly trying to find gifts for their girlfriends. the male quartet, lucien, hideo, mamoru, and eric, are going around the completely unfamiliar city*

hideo: it's strange that we're doing this.

eric: yeah, in the internet, we never do stuff like this.

mamoru: well, you're not in the internet anymore, especially since your 'fiancee' is here, too.

eric: just because i'm slated to marry her, doesn't mean she's here.

lucien: actually, Lyd said that she is supposed to be here. but, all i can find is a big purple dot.

mamoru: what big purple dot?

lucien: well, it's coming over this way.

*the 'big purple dot' collides into mamoru*

mamoru: ow!!

himeko: sorry! i guess i didn't see you there. i'll see you later. *she runs off with mamoru looking back at her*

eric: who the hell was that?

lucien: that's one of the girls here in Gaia. you'll see a lot of crazy ones. what do yo think, mamo?

mamoru: *says nothing*

lucien: mamo?

hideo: i think he's either dead or in love.

eric: mamoru? in love? i'd rather think he's dead.

*near some sort of fancy restaurant late in the evening, the female quartet are waiting for yukiko's fiance*

selene: so, what did you say his name was again?

yukiko: he said his name is liam and he told me that he would bring friends.

luna: how did he get here?

yukiko: through his starship, the titania.

selene: looks like Ryd might make a new friend!

*himeko is thinking about the boy she ran into earlier in the day. to her, he's kinda cute, but she's afraid that he'll be among the group. meanwhile, mamoru is equally afraid, unable to face the girl who bumped into him*

hideo: do you think that this girl's friends are hot?

lucien: can we not think about that? it's just dinner and a light conversation.

hideo: no wonder Lyd calls you teichou.

*the four boys go inside the restaurant and tell the waiter that they were waiting for four girls*

waiter: of course, they're this way. *the waiter leads the male quartet to a booth where the females are sitting. when they get there...*

mamoru: wow, your fiancee has-

lucien: don't say it.

mamoru: fine.

*the girls, meanwhile*

selene: what do you think they're talking about?

luna: they're probably just being stupid, like most boys.

selene: i don't think they look stupid.

luna: that's what they want you to think.

*after everything is settled out...*

lucien: so, what is it that you do?

luna: i'm a starship captain.

selene: *whispers to hideo* they're so pragmatic, it's ridiculous.

hideo: *whispers to selene* i know. i'd like to get away from them for at least one hour.

selene: yeah, want to go to the town square later?

hideo: if it's to make out...would i?!

*a few spaces over*

yukiko: so how did you get out of the internet?

eric: you know what, i have no idea. i mean, i was somewhere and i ended up here and it was about a week ago.

yukiko: that's when i got out of here. that's strange.

eric: yeah. so, what do you want to do after dinner?

yukiko: maybe go to the town square and *looks at luna and lucien* get away from them.

eric: i agree. but first, we need to do something about those two *points to himeko and mamoru* they haven't done anything the entire night.

yukiko: maybe they're in love. i thought himeko was dead.

eric: that's what i thought, too.

*and thus begins the weekend of trying to get those two together...often with horrid results*
