Time: 8:25 AM
It had been a week since he had gone into the hospital. A nurse knocked on the door. Kyo was sleeping in a chair in the corner. She had been worrying about him all week . “Your free to go today. You can stay as long as you need to today.” He smiled. “Good. Can I get out now. I want to get Kyo breakfast in the cafeteria….” He got out of bed falling. “God, its been a long time since I stood up.” He slowly got up. The nurse looked at him. “I’ve never noticed this….but your eyes are….beautiful.” He blinked blushing slightly. “T-thank you.” He smiled. “Can you help me down to the cafeteria?” She smiled. “Sure.”
They walked down to the cafeteria the nurse helping him down. “Thanks.” He said getting in line for something to eat. This morning he saw waffles, sausages, and toast. He smiled getting two boxes then the nurse helping him up to his room. He tapped Kyo’s shoulder. “Kyo! Wake up I’ve got breakfast.” She blinked falling out of the chair. “Ryu! Your up!!” She got up hugging him tightly. He smiled. “I can go home with you today.” He sat down on the bed the nurse sitting next to him. “If you need anything just find me.” She winked going out of the room.
“……?” He looked at Kyo. “What was that suppose to mean?” Kyo slapped her forehead. “Something you should not be concerned about.” He nodded then began eating. He put the two slices of toast with the sausages then ate it. “I should come here more often! Food is great!!” She sighed. “It’s a hospital your not suppose to want to come back!” He sighed. “I know!! But the food is to die for!” She growled. “Don’t say that!” He just ate his food after that. “Mother, I’m going for a walk. I’ll be back.” She nodded. “Ok, just don’t get in any trouble.” He walked out of the room blinking seeing the man in the full body cast. Great…. He walked over to the man, all of a sudden the man tried backing away. “Relax, I’ve already got you for what you did to me in the karaoke place.” The man’s wheelchair hit the wall. He leaned in near his head where his ear would be. “But whatever you do. Ill get you for killing Hatsumi, and I’ll make sure it’s a slow and agonizing death.” He hissed. He started to walk away after that going back to the room. Kyo blinked. “That was fast….” He smiled. “Yeah, just needed a little stretch.” He put his plastic tray in the trash. “Kyo, I’m sorry for what I did at the karaoke place. But…that man killed Hatsumi, but of course I have no proof so it just looked like self defense…..” She blinked. “Ryu. Its all right. You did what you had to do and that’s that.” He sighed. “But still! It was wrong.” Kyo glared at him. “What’s in the past should stay in the past.” He sat back down on the bed laying back. “I guess…..” He sighed thinking about the two years he spent with Hatsumi, a tear came to his eye. “Your not listening to me.” Kyo said looming over him.
