Time: 12:23 AM
Kyo was pacing the waiting room, no one there except them. “How long has it been?” She looked at the clock. “For the last time Kyo! Sit down!” She sat down in a seat near the door to the emergency room. About half an hour later a nurse came in, pushing her way out of the doors. “You all can see him now…” She said softly, obviously shy. Kyo jumped up going in the emergency room. Hiroko, Yuzume and Mrs. Nazuke walked in after her fallowing Kyo to his room. Kyo knocked on the door peeking in the little window on the door. “C-come in…” There was a weak voice behind the door. She opened it going in, right behind Kyo came her friends.
Ryu was wrapped up smiling looking at them. They gather around his bed. Ryu blinked. “….Did I miss something?” He smiled. His hat was off and on the floor next to the bed. His tail sticking out from under his body. “M-mother….?” Mrs. Nazuke smiled. “Yes Ryu, Kyo called me.” She leaned in giving him a kiss on the forehead. “How are you feeling?” Hiroko asked staring him. He closed his eyes. “In pain, they have me medication, but I don’t think its working to well….” Kyo sighed. “I’m glad your all right…”
About an hour later Yuzume left along with Hiroko going with her. “Goodbye Ryu. I hope you feel better.” They waved going off. Now it was down to Kyo and Mrs. Nazuke. “So….Ryu do you want to explain what happened?” He blinked. “M-mother….I really don’t know what happened….” Kyo sighed. “He must have blacked out after. Well what happened is he got stabbed and he almost killed a man.” He blinked. “W-what?!” He gasped. “Yeah….wait…a minute.” Kyo got up from where she was seated going over to him. She moved his bangs looking at his eyes. “They…where red while we at that karaoke place….” His eyes has turned back to the clear ocean blue. Mrs. Nazuke sighed. “I’ll be back, I’m going to go look for the man who attacked you Ryu.” She smiled getting up disappearing out of the room.
Mrs. Nazuke walked to one of the nurses. “Hello, do you know what happened to the other man who came in with Ryu?” She blinked. “Ryu?” Mrs. Nazuke sighed. “The kid who has cat ears an a tail.” The nurse blinked. “Oh! Him. The other man is in the room next to his.” With that she was off heading to the next room over. She opened the door without knocking looking in. The man was in a full body cast. Maybe…I should come back….later…. She slipped out of the room. Mrs. Nazuke walked back to Ryu’s room.
Kyo was asleep her head resting next to Ryu on the bed. “Shhhh.” He looked over at the door. “She fell asleep…” Mrs. Nazuke smiled. “Well Ryu, I’m going to go, I have work. So goodnight.” He smiled. “Goodnight mother.” With that the door closed. He pressed the nurse’s button. When the nurse came he asked her to turn off the lights and she did leaving him alone after that. “Goodnight Kyo….” He said softly falling asleep after that.
