The character of Leander is very similar to that of Venus in love. Likewise, Hero is an inexperienced youth as Adonis was. What difference is there in the character of Hero and Adonis which gives them such different paths?
How could intellect cause greater passion in love?
If none but the gods have the power to hide their love, then why are the gods so affected by love?
