*himeko awakens to the smell of bacon and eggs. she goes into the kitchen and sees the Other luna making breakfast*

Other luna: morning, himeko!

himeko: morning. *sits at the table*

Other luna: why won't you eat your breakfast?

himeko: you're not real.

*the Other luna goes to get a coat*

Other luna: well, i'm going to the mall. do you need something?

himeko: no.

Other luna: alright then. *turns to the door* you know, you won't get anywhere if you keep acting like that. we just want you to be our friend. *leaves*

*himeko stands around and decides to eat her breakfast*

himeko (thought): there's gotta be something she's afraid of losing. wait...that's me. never mind. well, how will win back my friends? *sees Other yukiko and follows her*

himeko: *enters her study* hello?

Other yukiko: come in.

himeko: what are you doing?

Other yukiko: writing something. you know, i shouldn't talk to you when the Other luna is not around.

himeko: where is she? she said she was going shopping.

Other yukiko: yes, but she'll come back later to fasten the doors and windows, to keep that pest out of the house.

himeko: rats?

???: oh, silly. *Other selene came in*

Other selene: why the rats? they're our friends.

himeko: then the cat then.

Other selene: yes.

*himeko turns and leaves to explore the rest of the world. she begins going into the plains of west Barton, only to find nothingness*

himeko: huh? where's Barton?

???: this isn't a good place for you.

*himeko sees the cat*

himeko: where's Barton?

cat: there is no Barton. all we have is where you were last.

himeko: ...Aekea...

cat: exactly.

*they see that all of Aekea is reforming in the empty space*

himeko: it came back...

cat: you know how they say if you go around the world, you wind up back where you started?

himeko: yeah.

cat: this is it.

himeko: maybe i should go inside.

cat: that is a good idea.

*himeko begins sprinting toward the oddly vibrant starship*
