So yeah.. in this post I will tell you everything that happened during my Christmas time here in my country Puerto Rico.. soo as you might or might not know Puerto Rico is the country with the longest Christmas in the world, They begin on November 27 with Thanksgiving day and they end on January 14 with the "Octavitas" which are 8 extra days of holiday after January 6 when we celebrate the "Tres Reyes Magos" tradition. so yeah.. we are also the country with the most Festive days so yeah.. obviously we like partying alot.. so now that you know that info about my country let me tell you.. soo School ends on December 11 or something like that.. we are all crazy because at last the semester has ended and we're ready to have the best vacations of our lifes and make the best of them.. soo as December 25 [Christmas Day] arrives we are always having Christmas parties called "Parrandas" which start at 7pm or 8pm and end at 2am or 3am sometimes even 5am and 6am so yeah we're hardcore "partyers" lolz.. so December 25 is here.. a day to stop from partying and share some time with the family and being calm.. basically that day is like a reeces from all the parrtying .. so we go to each of our family member's house to pick up our presents then head home and try all of them.. soo.. December 25 is over.. we get a reeces from Dec 25 to Dec 30 so we can stay up the 30th all night celebrating the Neew Year.. so we have a BIG a** party and eat alot and sing and do all sort of crazy stuff and we stay up all night.. literally... so on Jan 1 we go to sleep @ 6:30am maybe.. I was exited because I was going on a Cruise on Jan 4... so.. on January 4 i went on the Carnival Victory.. my 1st cruise experience... and I have 1 phrase for it.. AWESOMENESS To THE EXTREME!! I enjoyed every single second on board the ship as well as onm the islands... I met alot of people and made lots of new friedns.. it is an awesome experience.. so I got here to PR on jan 11 and spent some time with the family.. then school started on January 13 and that's when it all officialy ends when chool starts.. soo that's all I did on my christmas vacations they were awesome..!! biggrin
