My Everything
I lay there alone in the darkness, my body curled into a tight ball. I was craving you; my mouth open in a silent cry for you, pleading. My thoughts becoming increasingly violent towards myself; all seemed lost in this moment. Then you opened the door. Light flooding the room as you came to me. You took my hand and led me to the white room I had visited so many times before in a dream. And in a way this was like a dream, too perfect to be real. You guided me to the center of this room to the white bed that waited, for you, for me, and for us. You lay on the bed pulling me to you; I couldn’t think. You were everything to me now. My fears slipped away with every one of your kisses, my worries forgotten with every touch. My desire for you increased with every whispered word; I loved you. You took my face in your hands and as I tried to focus my mixed thoughts, some frantic others lustful, you kissed me with such passion I forgot everything in the world, everything but you. Time stood still as you kissed me in this white haven. I let out a small moan of pleasure as your lips moved from mine, working their way down my neck. Another moan escaped my parted lips as you licked the hollow of my throat. Everything about this seemed surreal. From your pale milky skin, matching the colour of the bed and room, to your intoxicating scent of dew and honey; every feathery soft touch felt like a dream. And though I wished this dream would last forever, I woke only too soon to find my bed empty. The pale pink walls of my room surrounding me as a small ray of light peeked through the curtains, irritating my still tired eyes. The radio blaring a song I didn’t know, time to get up. And though this fantasy of you is over, I will look forward to when you will visit me again in my dreams; I am longing for the night once more.
