yep. Tonight is our church's Christmas program. I need to go over my two songs for it again... they were a little rusty when we practiced this morning. sweatdrop

Yay I finished the blue on the butterfly! There's some spots that are so worn out by this time that you can move them back and forth. I just finished taping the back up so no ends get loose or anything... now for the background, and then onto the landscape project.

Optimism was not on my side today. It started bright and early at 1:30, when Karen got me out of bed to tell me that Chris had gotten stuck in the ditch. At first she said that he couldn't sleep so he was out driving, but then later her story changed to where he had to go help dig out his cousin... -.- Chris wanted ME to drive the pickup over to get him, but there were several things that kept me from doing that:
-I'm smarter than to drive in a blizzard in the middle of the night without my parents knowing.
-I don't have lots of experience with the pickup (s'pecially in bad weather), and the time certainly wouldn't help my thinking process.
- It was freakin' 10 below outside. Karen actually got frostbite on her ear when she went out with dad to go help him.
- Not a one of us is a legal adult,
all of which led me to storm downstairs (followed by two annoying siblings) and march into mom and dad's bedroom and tell him, "Chris got stuck." He didn't really know where he was (ended up being about a mile away from our house...), so dad had to figure it out himself.

Many things are suspicious concerning that. Karen has already lied/deceived us once- one morning she was MISSING from the house. She wasn't answering her phone, and eventually she came sauntering through the front door (btw there was another blizzard this time, too) claiming to have "gone on a walk" when we were all wondering where she was. -.- Then this time some things were fishy around the farm- there were soggy socks in the entryway, the barn light was on, and Karen's coat was laying in a chair. But when mom and dad asked about those, she shrugged and said that she hadn't gone outside. But then a little later she confessed to have gone "to the barn to visit the cats" because "she couldn't sleep." Why she would want to lie in the first place is what is suspicious. Also suspicious is to where Chris was in location to us. Dad said he didn't see tracks or anything in the driveway, though... Mom was getting REALLY mad at her, and demanded, "Did you go see Chris?" and Karen repeatedly told her, "No, I did not." I honestly don't know what to think..... I was actually thinking it'd be nice to burn her phone, and place her under house arrest for 6 months (we'd collect her homework from school) and call the cops and get Chris arrested once he's 21. (that would make him a legal adult and karen only 15.)

hmmm... oh and I accidentally laughed REALLY loud during church. sweatdrop I always kinda giggle when we greet each other (like everyone stands up and looks around for people to shake hands with) because half the time us 3 kids are standing there looking around appearing lost. xD

Tomorrow's piano. I'm going into work with mom in the morning, having breakfast there (I think), having my lesson, then hanging out at Jennifer's the rest of the day. I think I'll have to work on my resume and cover letter for BPA then... I'm already starting to think what qualities I'll have to list on it that would help me to get the pretend job. =P

oh speaking of jobs- I have a total of three possibilities for jobs that I would consider doing- playing piano for church (its $70/day- and by day, its only an hour long (but u have to figure in all the practice time and such...)), working in the Willmar Library (my aunt is the head librarian so that might help... =P), and/or working at Rice as a "dietary" at nights (basically do kitchen stuff lol...). I need income. Really bad. My ultimate goal is to be able to buy a laptop, and use the spare money to get a videocamera and some decent editing software for it. >.< oh and also some music software (that I could hook up to my digital piano? O.o) to boot...

I'll be glad once this thing is done tonight. One whole year before we have to do it again! biggrin I found a really cool swing Christmas song in one of my piano books, and hopefully I can work that up by next Christmas... but who knows. I might have it down by the middle of summer. =P

oh and more disappointments! The posters that I did last night had lotsa errors on them- the margin was a little too low when i printed, so only half of the last line showed up (went over all of the sheets with sharpies to fix it), but then I discovered I had printed the wrong date. stare shi-crap. and the lullaby- I found the youtube clip last night, and it isn't the same freakin' song. The "real" version is the third song I've heard titled "Bella's Lullaby." Anyways both two versions (I dunno where the third is...) are on my playlist now... (and the clip was really weird-- I'm definitely reconsidering even renting the movie because of it... o.o) the piano one is the one I can play... the other one sounds just really minor to me. And without a point. It's just like *whoosh-blah* with a lot of noise in between... -.- lol Edward is nowhere even remotely hot (he scares me- just the pale skin and the extremely disheveled hair is a turn-off to me). But the werewolf dude looks to be... xD don't mind me and my opinions. Let me fester in my own cesspool- stay in yours and keep your water to yourself. (xDDD)

I think thats it for now... typing warms my hands. (they were blue this morning... O.O) stay warm peoples, and have a good day.
