It all began when I meet a boy and his crow...

part 1 the awakening

I was about ten I awoke to some sounds out side I went to check it out. There was a car crash outside the two people were in an argument about whatever it is that grown ups argue about. I soon got bored of the argument and decided to go for a walk down by the river.

I then noticed what seemed to be a regular boy and a crow with glowing red eyes and about fifty demons. The boy and the crow were fighting the demons I thought they needed help so I joined in turned out to be a mistake.

I picked up a stick and went after the nearest demon I hit it in the head. It then turned on me and laughed "A human boy thinks he can take me on." it said then it hit me and sent me flying backwards into a tree. The boy yelled to the crow "protect him he tried to help us."

The crow flew to my defense and let out a blast of shadows that took the demons head off. I thought that was weird but then the crow talked "I dont think he's going to make it Moses, he's badly hurt." I knew the crow was talking about me but I couldn't believe it I felt fine.

Moses then looked at me and said "Look again Shadow that isn't a normal human boy in fact I don't think he's human at all". When Shadow looked at me he saw me standing up my brown haired had turned black and my eyes were glowing green.

I had claws were my finger nails were and I also had fangs. I could feel an anger growing inside of me and a power I had never felt before. I then let out a roar and attack the next demon he didn't even see me coming. I ripped his arm off as I ran in front of him and turned around and brought my claws up into his throat and ripped it out.

"RUN! This werewolf is fast and I'm not going to lose my life for a pointless cause." a demon yelled they all seemed to agree and ran. Moses laughed when all the demons were gone "Why didn't you do that sooner kid?" he asked "I don't think he knew how Moses." shadow said and landed on Moses shoulder.

"My name's Moses call me Dbird this is Shadow, whats your name kid?" Moses asked, "The name's Jak and no I don't know what I just did." I said, "Your a werewolf Jak and you just partially transformed using the anger inside of you." Shadow said, "WOW! Shadow must like you if he talked to you AND USED YOUR NAME! It was months before he would even talk to me let alone use my name." Moses said.

"Hey Jak do you think you could help me?" Moses asked, "He means were in kinda of a jam did you see the dragon looking demon when they ran?" Shadow asked, "Yea I did but he wasn't fighting earlier, why do you need my help? I'm just a kid." I asked. Moses walked up to me and put his hand on my shoulder "Your way more than just a kid, also your faster and stronger than I am, you just haven't realized your power yet." He said.

"Anyways he's been hunting us because he despises the weak and he see's us as weak cause Moses is a demon created by a human." he said,"Sure I'll do what I can to help you two." I said, "I'll train you to use your power and be in more control of it then you are." he said.

So for the next couple of weeks Shadow trained me to the best of his abilities. "No no your doing it wrong, Jak do you remember how you felt the first time you called on the wolf in you?" Shadow asked, "Umm... yea I was angry at him for hitting me." I said, "Try to recreate that feeling this time but remember who you are because if you don't you will lose your self in the anger and power." he said.

I sat there for a minute thinking back trying to remember it exactly then I felt it watching me "What are you doing and who are you?" it asked, "I'm trying to call on the wolf within me and my name's Jak who are you?" I asked, He laughed at me "I am the wolf inside you and I am you I don't have a name yet but I've been asleep till a few weeks ago when you woke me up."

"I'm sorry I woke you up." I said, then he laughed even harder "No no I'm glad you did or you and I would be dead right now." he said, "So umm... shouldn't you have a name?" I asked, "Why?" he asked, "So I have something to call you other then wolf." I said, "Sure I guess, you can call me Midnight." he said.

I then change into Midnight a wolf with midnight black fur and dark green eyes that seem to glow. "Oh I didn't expect you to fully change so soon in your life it usually takes years for werewolves to master that this is wonderful Jak." Shadow said.
