Ok, so I turned 16 a few weeks ago, [November 27] to be exact, I've been studying for the Learner's permit test even before I turned 16. so that my father could take me to get my liscence fast, why? well because here in Puerto Rico there is a bill waiting to become a law that states that the age in which you can get the learner's permit will change from 16 year-old to 18. so yeah, there has been rumors lately, that this law has now been passed and from January 2009 on, you need to be 18 before you can get your driver's license or learner's permit, I understand why they made this bill in the first place, because it is calculated that more than 75% of the car accidents in Puerto Rico are from people under 18 years old. so yeah, that is a high percentage number and i think is more than enough to have passed this law YEARS ago, but still I'm glad they didn't because that way I could get my driver's license at 16, which I always wanted, so now I have my liscence and I'm really happy about it. now all I have to do is wait 30 days practice a little and get my Driver's Liscence, which is a little bit hard... umm.. let's see if im missing something.. ohh yeah.. I got a 95 on the test, which is a really good score I must say.. and well that's all now I leave you with a picture of my Learner's Permit!!
