confession is realy what killed the cat

before i even admitted it
everyone called me a f**
all because i like sensitive things
roses, love songs, and drag.
because i used the words "pretty", and "yay"
and liked watching the stars they called me gay
i finally decided, heck they all know already
i'd come out to them and admit it, show them i don't care
but i spoke to fast and didn't realize
that the world was never ever fair
and now i am a hisghchool dropout
tenth grade education at age eighteen
no job will hire me now
it's a fate i'd never forseen
and people all around say
"may jesus be with you son"
because i happen to be bisexual
they tell me "jesus is the one"
"because you are an abomination"
"doesn't matter if you are in love"
"liking a man when you already are one"
"means you'll never live forever up above"
"instead you'll rot in hell forever"
"that is your final judgement sentence"
"you are evil just because you're you"
"but hey, no offence"
people all around me yell and shout
through car windows on the street
that i don't belong here
and i'm only worth the gum on there feet
i'll never get into college now
doesn't matter that i'm a straight A student
i have no money, i can't fight back
to ask those who condemned me wouldn't be prudent
cause even the cops who's job it is
to stop this kind of treatment of me
will stop me when i'm grocery shopping
just to taunt and threaten with glee.
