alrighty. So as far as today goes, its been okay. I'm nervous as hell for my piano thing tonight- I'm not very good at it. sweatdrop I think once that's done, I'll be a lot more content than I am now...
but I feel alright. It was snowing earlier, and it looked beautiful. =]
Also I'm working on my pointillism thinger now...
still have to read up to chapter 5 in The Jungle for tuesday...
dot dot dot... think Ms. S. called those an ellipses, and it means that there's more to what something's saying, but you're not gonna tell. I knew that (not its name, but its use/meaning) and I realize that i use it a lot (duh) but its true most of the time that there is more that I'm just not saying about something... =P (see? another one! xD)
oh and I made lasagna, fudge, and 4 dozen cookies yesterday for 4-H. By this morning, none of the cookies were left (pig brother had like a trillion of them before we even left for 4-H... stare ) and there was VERY little lasagna left. The fudge, however, is a disaster. I had never made it before, and had never watched my mother make it. So I forgot to boil it & a couple other things so now it tastes really funky... it tastes like chocolate (for the most part lol) but the sugar didn't dissolve because I didn't boil it so there's like little crunchy-ish chunks of sugar when you eat it... rolleyes but seriously mom had texted me saying to "zap it" in the microwave, and by zap I think a few seconds- not long enough to make it boil. ninja oh well.
so I guess I'd better get practicing for tonight... but dad's taking a nap... -.-
