Project Seed

Prologue

10 years after the nuclear explosion that started the appearance of Extra-ordinary defects in seemingly ordinary births, Victor Montgomery had finally put enough money into his bank to what his destiny demanded of him. He put everything he had into buying and renovating a huge, ancient mansion in an adequately discreet part of the country, 7 months later opening the doors on A.F.T.E.R. The Academy For The Extremely Rare was an institute which relieved parents at the end of their tether of troublesome children and teens and trained to put their special abilities to better use than hotwiring their teacher’s car.

Unfortunately, Montgomery had poisoned his blood in the process of helping these youths, working in too close a vicinity to radiation for his normal human body to handle, and he died only a few years after he opened his Institute. Without his watchful eye on the use his students put their powers to, a mutated genius invented the Cyborganic Robots, or Cys, as they would become better known. This genius, a madman called William Crone, as can be seen in any history books these days, was eventually brutally murdered by his own creations, psychotic human bodies merged with robotic elements.

It was about this time that the Seeds were discovered, by the Cys themselves, and somehow activated. Although unsure exactly why, the Cys, and those who controlled them, knew that the Seeds were valuable remnants of the nuclear explosion, and war broke out between the Cys and the members of A.F.T.E.R, who turned from peace-keepers into a small, but practically indestructible, army.

Although the possession of the Seeds has changed hands many times in the course of the war, the Cys currently have three of the eight largest treasures. The humans possess only one, hidden at the very heart of the facilities at A.F.T.E.R, under the point that is Inspector Mork Antony Davies’ office. The Inspector is the current leader of the taskforce in charge of retrieving the other Seeds; his Lieutenants are Gabe Steelframe and Francis “Frank” Firefoot.
