As I sit and listen to the words you say, and try to comprehend,

Just exactly how you can talk that way, words to rough to mend.

Once again the tears form, and fall from my eyes.

You look at me in disbelief, and ask me why I cry.

"I cry to show my pain, so you see it on my face."

"I cry to show I'm listening, its just a small embrace."

You say I just dont understand, what it is thats wrong.

I agre 'cuz I know I don't, this pain has gone on to long.

"Open up" I pleed for you, I want to know your sorrow!

So that maybe our relationship, will see the day tomorrow........
