i am letting go -
i have held on for so long
the hope of love, the want of love, the need for love
i am done hoping, wanting, needing, but most of all,
i am done loving
it hurts too much
love is so amazing - it surpasses all other feelings ever felt,
but the crushing blows the failure or loss of love can deal surpasses every pain ever known
i can't do it anymore
unfulfilled promises, unfaithful people, unforgiving public -
they all add up to a bigger pain
i can't say if it is worth it -
i am in pieces and i don't know if i'll every be whole again
i was at my most complete while in love
