An Almost Christmas Story
(All names have been switched in for the real names. This is a real story.)
A lovely girl is walking to school. It is a cold windy day. The date is December 21st, 2007. This is the day her life ended and began.
"I love John. He is so amazingly awesome. I can't wait to see him" Victoria said. She loved a guy named John. She had every class with him. Victoria had a best friend named Sierra. Sierra had known Victoria her whole life. They are all Eighth graders.
Two years ago in Sixth grade Victoria bumped into a guy in the cafeteria. He looked her in the eye and apologized. He had a fantastic smile. Victoria walked over to her best friend. "Who was that?!" She had asked. Sierra replied, "John. He has classes on the other side of the school." Victoria got to know this John guy from her friend Sierra. She fell in love. Victoria asked out John, once again through Sierra. (Sierra rode his bus) Sierra told Victoria that he had said yes. She got so excited. Victoria spent her whole Sixth and Seventh grade years thinking she was his girlfriend. Now, Back to the real story.
Victoria got to class and realized today is a free day. They got to watch movies all day. During the first movie Victoria's friend Cloe walked up to her. "Guess who is going out with John!?" Victoria chuckled. "Umm. Me." Cloe pulled on Victoria's arm and drug her towards Carlie. "Carlie is! She asked him out this morning and he said yes!" Victoria cried a tad bit. She told Sierra about it and Sierra got nervous. "Umm...I have something to tell you."
Sierra told Victoria that Sierra had lied to her. John had no idea who she was until eighth grade year! Sierra had lied to Victoria for two and a half years. She felt so stupid! Victoria cried. Boy, did she cry. She cried for a week. Maybe two. She doesn't remember. Victoria tried very hard to get over it and she has made some progress. She has gotten over him. She is no longer friends with Sierra and is much happier.
