Over the summer, I worked on the cover for Sean Costello's Here After. Friday night is release party, so I'll be making my way up on bus Friday afternoon in order to get there :]
Warning: his novels are horror/psychological, and are written for an adult audience. Content wise, comparable in terms of a rating for audience to Stephen King novels.
Warning is so that hopefully no one objects to my posting this update --- I want to let people know what I am up to, but Gaia's audience includes users as young as 13 years old - in Canada, there are not restrictions on purchasing novels unless they are pornographic or there is a public outcry in a city, I am not sure if in the USA if there are any restrictions in place that would disallow a 13 year old from buying a horror novel, and am hoping I am not breaking the law or policy in posting this.
Aside from the release of the novel -- trying to get midterm stuff wrapped up, which should have been done two days ago.
As well, realized that my website should be more useful/ functional, in terms of potential for people to get to it through mention on author's website... Current state of it is not doing anything for me.
And then business cards, I should probably have.
And I am supposed to go to a gallery opening tomorrow night at the college.
And I found a really cool webinar in SL around cyber museum curation that is going have featured talks that I really want to participate in that occur when I need to be on the bus up sad Would be awesome if I had a way to access net on way up, but service for a cell modem for a laptop runs upward of $200 per month here, and as is, I can barely afford to have my pay-as-go cell phone to make sure that I can call a cab or for help if I fall asleep somewhere and am stuck.
