Do you have the shine? Just finished reading Stephen King's The Shining last night. I just couldn't sleep being so close to the end of the book. How could I leave poor Danny with his mad father looking for him while swinging that deadly mallet!? This is another book where the movie was good, but the book is even better. It brings the story to life to be able to see the inner conflict within the characters, especially Jack as he struggles with the temptation to drink and to control his unpredictable temper.
