i recently finished the 5th spiderwick chronicles book, and i'd say it was probably one of the best seies i've ever read! i'm going to get a copy of aruthurs guide, but not for a while. i've started the second series (beyond the spiderwick chronicles) and it's not as good as the original, but i might finish the book. i'm about half way through it, why not? ^^ one of the reasons i want the guide is that i want to know how to get the sight. if i could see them, i think that would just be the best thing in the world! so, please read the books, i want to know if that changes your prespective on faries and other "mythical" creatures
