Until 2 years ago, I was homeschooled my whole life. My mom thought that school was harsh, and had too many rules when she was a child, and she wanted to make it different for her daughter...so she did. stare

I have 2 brothers older than me----one is 6 years older than me (18 ), and the other is 9 years older than me (21). They both went to PS (Public School) when they were children, but I was the homeschooled sister that learned at home...it was okay, but when I became 11, I started to realize I had no friends, and working at home where all the games were, was too distracting. So at 9 I started to not listen to my Mom and Dad, and tried to do whatever I wanted, whenever I wanted. Well, 5 months after my 11th Birthday, they put me in a one room "private" Christian school. At first I was slightly nervous about going to school, and meeting new people, 'cause it was something totally new to me, and I had no idea what-so-ever about what I had to do in school---but eventually I made friends (Lindsey, Heather, and Tabitha). It was awesome, and fun...every break, we all went outside, and pet the horses, and played on the swings, etc.. About 1 year later, Lindsey, and Heather left to go to a PS, and the only friend I had was Tabitha cry ....so 1 more year later, Haley came along...She was a cheerleader from the local JR High School (i'm 13 now), she is 2 years younger than me. Well all was somewhat fun again, until she left... 'cause her mother wanted her, and her brother, back in PS.
Well, 4 months later, I decided I wanted to try PS out...yes, it was actually a hard decision (lol) rolleyes . Well, now I'm going to public school (8th grade), and I'm quite nervous.....I guess 10 years of homeschooling made me a little "antiSOCIAL" lol, and I'm really shy sweatdrop . I have no idea what it's going to be like, and I'm so nervous about finding the classes I have to go to---getting to school on time---introducing myself to the class---making friends---where I'm going to sit during lunch---etc.. I'm going to take my placement test on Friday (tomorrow), so I'm a little nervous about that too I guess..................wish me luck redface







My mom and dad are the best, and their really nice to me razz ...so if you were reading that thinking they abuse me or anything, or neglect me? Think again!! I'm so lucky to have them as my parents heart 4laugh razz biggrin
