Love that Blooms in the spring
I look at your smiling face
And I find myself smiling back
Your flowing hair fluttered
In the wind on that day
I can still hear your song
As you sang softly in my
Ear that lovely spring morning
I can feel your warmth
As we lay here on the grass
Next to each other
I can smell your perfume still
As I engrave it into my mind
I never want to forget you
I want to be with you always
Like this together into the night
Let’s enjoy the time we have
In the coming twilight
Looking out into the setting sun
Holding your soft and gentle hand
Will our love ever fade
Like the coming of
A new day or will it
Last as long as we live?
I want to say
I love you now and forever
As we seal that love with
A kiss from your soft warm lips
Say that you love me too
