Ability::
Power Drain - Mischa has the ability to drain others of their "life force", a spiritual psychic energy that fuels all humans. It can be compared to one's "aura", "chi/qi", "chakra", "mana", etc. Her favorite way of doing this is through a kiss, but she can do it simply by touching someone. When she does this, it usually exhausts the other party and energizes her. She can kill people with this, but she can't at the same time (see "Notes" wink .

Power Manipulation - She's able to take this energy, add it to her own and manipulate it. With this, she is able to create invisible extra appendages out of the energy that can move things, crush things, etc. Anything a large hand would be able to do. It can resemble telekinesis, but Mischa's not using her mind.

Notes - Her weakness in this is that it only lasts as long as the amount of energy she takes (if she takes a little, it lasts for a bit. If she takes a lot, it lasts a while). She can use her own energy to create the appendages, but it drains her (theoretically, when she masters her abilities she won't have to take others life force to accomplish this). When the effects of taking another's life force wears off, she's highly exhausted...much like coming down from a caffeine or sugar high. Sleeping usually mends this. Also, if she takes in too much energy, it can have the adverse effect of energizing her too much and making her "explode" psychically. So while she can kill people by stealing their life force, its a bad idea for her to do so on anyone who is not already exhausted or near death. She also refrains from taking any energy from those with psychic powers as they tend to have an extraordinary amount of life force.

Its presumed that once she masters her powers, she'll also be able to transfer her own life force into others, giving her a full manipulation of the energy.
Biography:: Mischa was born to two normal parents. Her mother died giving birth to her, now believed to be because Mischa drained her of her life force while being born. She was raised by her father, but it wasn't long before he found out about her powers. Every time he held her he felt weaker and she was more lively. So he did the only thing a good father could do: he exploited it. When she got older, the two of them used her power to drain people of their life force so they could rob banks, jewelry stores, anything that could get them money. However, when Mischa's grandmother on her mother's side found out about this, she called the police. Her father was arrested and Mischa went to live with her grandma.

Her grandmother was more understanding and appreciative of her powers; mainly because they came from her. The powers were from her mother's side, but skips a generation. She tried to teach Mischa about her powers, but the damage from her father's mentoring had been done. Mischa preferred to continue using her powers for her own benefit, using them to hurt and manipulate others. She lived a typical street kid life and was the leader of a gang who stole, hurt, and controlled others. But her grandmother wasn't having it. She confined Mischa to the house in an attempt to stop her, however, Mischa always found a way to escape. Finally, they came face to face with each other. Mischa attempted to drain her grandmother until she died, but it backfired horribly. She took too much of the woman's powers and her own life force was energized much too rapidly, causing it to "explode" and leaving her in a coma for 3 months.

When she came out of her coma, Mischa learned her lesson. Instead of leading a life of crime, she decided to let her grandmother teach her what she knew. Her grandmother didn't trust her and felt it was too dangerous to let her remain amongst other humans. So she sent her granddaughter to the Paradox Institute so she could learn from professionals, and also be severely limited in who she could hurt with her powers.
Appearance:: Mischa is tall and slender, standing at 5'8" and weighing in at 120lbs, but still has a curvy figure. Her long, straight black hair has a slight blue hue to it due to her tinting it. It complements her brown complexion. But what stands out the most on the young woman are her bright blue eyes, which seem to be almost hypnotic to many people. She has a "sultry" sort of look to her and looks a bit older than her age. She can usually be found wearing anything she finds comfortable but sexy; but you more than likely won't catch her in a skirt.
