I parted my lips with a "no"
As you tuned
and walked out the door.
I couldnt belive that u had
actually gone.
Dark clouds had blinded me for so long,
that the sun
was once only a faint memory.
My laughter was lost somewhere
in the past.
The person in the mirror
was no longer me.
To imagine that I was
once that stupid girl; who
thought that your leaving,
was my life ending;
I laugh.
And with those lips I smile,
to realize that it was
you, who let ME leave,
and that my life has just begun.
