EB stage 8 and other stuff Morning everyone! I've been meaning to write a journal prior to its evolution but I was way too sleepy every evening and that the warm nights was just too distracting and annoying for me to write (I don't have an AC in my room). Enchanted Book This week's evolution was very SPARKLY! I think I spent one and a half weeks on the dress alone. The dress originally covered the feet until I made the decision to create an opening for the sake of the slippers. I didn't understand how the slippers were equipable with other shoes though o_oa Anyway, the dress was inspired by basic features of the pumpkin such as the inner skirt, the large white overlap are based on the general shape of the leaves, and the golden tendrils are based on the vines. Turn the avi around, the image of the carriage is there. A similar image can be seen on the back of the coachman's coat. Before it evolved, I was very nervous and worried about how Gaians will react to the dress with the color choices and construction I made for it. sweatdrop -Dress's original concept Before the current dress, the original concept I made 2 months ago was that it looked more white pumpkin-like so that if you sat down and wore a huge leafy headdress, you'd take on the shape of the pumpkin. Had to scrap the idea because it wasn't doable. -Transparency issues and green glitch The next sprite update will be on Monday the 8th (MC day), so the new graphic fixes for the dress will be updated by then. -"It's crooked!" Like I mentioned in... two, three, threads, the legs and feet of female avatars always throw me off because of its more awkward angle (there's a slant with one of the legs and the feet look like they both point toward one direction. Female avatar shoes emphasize that awkward direction even more). I mainly follow the chest as a guide until I get to the waist down which has been frustrating me. It's an issue with a lot of wide dresses especially with the EB's gown making it very obvious due to the opening. It looks fine on male avatars though. I'll see what I can do to fix the female's dress. Other Stuff -Birthday! I turned 27 not long ago this month. sweatdrop I didn't do a lot other than go out to eat with a friend and my boyfriend. smile Went to Dave & Busters and had dinner and a few drinks with my longtime friend since high school, MeccaFresh. I was happy to see and talk to her again because we rarely see each other. The next day I had lunch with my boyfriend in Santana Row then went to Borders and got myself two Nana manga volumes 8 and 9 whee I love Nana! biggrin Later that day we went to check out a Japanese restaurant we never tried before for dinner. The food was really good but it was hard to pick what I wanted because the menu was huge. The red snapper yakimeshi and slices of hamachi were my faves. :9 Also thank you to those who managed to find out my birthday and give me presents XD; -Boy's bathroom I was watching this video of this guy named Kevjumba on youtube where he gives you a tour of his high school. I found out guys pee in what looks like a huge sink basin instead of urinals and I was reminded of the Sims 2 video of men's bathroom etiquette. So I got to wondering how could the guys get their privacy?! And I was exclaiming to my bf, "does it really look like that?!"

	27 eh? I don't think I know anyone that old! ;3 I give you happy wishes for your the rest of your birthday year. The bathroom thing reminds me of this New Grounds game where you're a guy and you have to pick the right urinal. I actually did surprisingly good. I've never seen a boys bathroom like that before - seriously odd. I'm very thankful for stalls and privacy in girl bathrooms. 	Happy birthday, buki : D I love the new evolution, as usual <3. I didn't notice the dress was supposed to be all white until someone posted saying green goo was tinting the bottom of the dress to be green. I actually kind of like it that way ninja but I understand that isn't the way it was meant to be.

	I'm in the same boat with liking the green. I didn't even realize it was unintended. XD The crookedness doesn't bother me at all either, in fact, I thought it had a lot more depth than most dresses.

	Happy belated birthday! I loved this evolution. Except the dress. I didn't expect anything that like and I personally hate the opening. sweatdrop Sorry. I get where you were going but the opening makes it look even more wonky than it is.

	Sometimes they look like that. Sometimes we get urinals. Sometimes the urinals get covers for privacy.

	Ah, buki I just love your enchanted book more and more! I can see clearly the leaves on the front, the pumpkin carriage on the back, not to mention the sparkles and clock face! I'm glad you decided to show off the feet, because it's such a central part to the story. In a moving image you could have left it longer, but for now our avatars are static, so to get the right impact you have to let the shoes show. And even the sitting down poses of the dress have so much detail. crying You might not know how the slippers layer with other shoes, but let me say they make some awesome combos! Our legs really are crooked, so I can see how that'd make it hard to get a dress like this to work. I'll enjoy the green goo combo I have for now and I'm sure whatever you figure out will be just wonderful. Please keep up your great work! 	What I have shown you is reality... Happy Birthday Buki! I have to say I truly love how the dress turned out. It goes so well with Pepper-Tea's Biancamella it was almost like they were made for each other. As for the green goo glitch, I have to say it looks pretty good. It matches with Coocoon and I thought it was awesome when I first saw it. razz What you remember... that is the illusion.

And just as some silly suggestion...For males you could do a magic-dust-thing scarf and belt and maybe some Hair of it for both sex. Don't know how, don't know how they would look like. I just have the silly concept xd

	⌦I know you didn't say anything about doing this but... Do not, I repeat do not change the shoes! I love how they layer over other shoes! It makes them really unique in that you can make them your own. I was so siked when I noticed that, that I ran around to every store just to try on shoes. [ whee ] HAPPY BELATED BIRTHDAY! 	There's places where you pee into what is basically a recessed metal wall that has a drain at the bottom. 3nodding the trick is to either not care, or stare straight ahead.

	The horse pose is sexy! My friend made a really cool pose with it and the broken Gimpi pose, lol. The Castle is actually pretty cool.... Reminds me of the Disney castle lol

	Happy belated birthday!! Lollers, I'm 25, and starting to dread birthdays... xd This evolution is hands down, my FAVORITE! As you can see, I had great fun with the castle pose (Backrounds are always win!), and the dress and shoes are very neat! I was sad I couldn't use the tiara (it really looks best on dark hair), but I'm absolutely sure I'll use it lots in future! Anyway, I actually enjoy the glitch with the green on the dress, maybe it could be a pose, please, please? It would look nice with the new evolution of the Coocoon! Also, please keep the layering with the slippers? I hadn't known it did that, but I'm so excited to try it out, and I don't want it to go away! xD But anyway, much love, and I can't wait to see this one finish! And I need a nother one, dernit, and it's all your fault! heart

	Ha ha, I have found your journal now. commences stalking ninja I am really enjoying the evolution of the Enchanted Book. The magical swirls will be very useful to me. I was so excited about the pumpkin-patch pose we got last time~! The cloak is just too amazing and beautiful for words. I really like the very princessy dress, too; I think that's the first time I've gone out into the forums with visible goo, but I couldn't wait until it was fixed to wear the dress. redface I did not notice any crookedness at all.

	I've been stoked for the slippers since the beginning, so I'm really happy to see them now. They're beautiful! The whole evo this week is beautiful! Enchanted Book is turning into one of my favorite EIs. I've only got one problem (besides the green goo, which is getting fixed) - Padmavati's "heavenly light" pose unequips the slippers. I'd love to have them both! Thanks for all your hard work, it's turning out great!

	First off, love the E-book. It's my favourite EI. smile Second, the business I come to you with. Layering issues. As you can see, the doves are eating my prince's face. I would like this to change, I.E. I would like the doves to layer behind him. If you're not the right person to be talking to about this, then please direct me to who it should be.
