Welcome to my journal, which is most definitely not a diary!
In case you're wondering why I'm only starting this now, it's because something interesting finally happened.
What interesting thing is that, you ask? Well, I received yet ANOTHER phone call from my father, bugging me to come down and visit him in Tasmania, AND I agreed!!!
Don't ask me what I was smoking, cause I don't remember, but I shall be leaving on the 13th of september. Joy.
Those of you who don't know me (so, all of you reading this) will probably be wondering "who is this nut, why does he think we care about his problems, and what exactly is wrong with his dad?" well the answers, in that order are "an eighteen year old looking for work, I possess a huge Narcissus complex AND many, many things".
The first thing wrong with my dad is that he is in his late forties, and doesn't have a job. The second thing is that he is in his late forties, and LIVING WITH HIS PARENTS. This means I'm not just visiting my loser dad, but I also get stuck with the near-comatose dinosaurs that spawned him! It's difficult to pinpoint exactly what's wrong with them, lets just say that, some how, some way, for some reason, their presence precludes any chance of fun.
In other news, I've pre-ordered a copy of "Final Fantasy IV" for the Nintendo DS, which hits Australian shores on Thursday. I didn't start playing the Final Fantasy series until "X", so I've been glad of this chance to go back and play previous installments.
I've heard it said (by whiny little fanboys, mostly) that "Final Fantasy VII" is the best and "the entire series afterwards is crap". If any of you reading this have any thoughts on this topic, I suppose I wouldn't mind hearing them. Go ahead and put a comment on my profile.
