I have managed once again to escape my persuers
I am sure however that this good fortune will not last.
Upon passing a nearby lake and gazing at my reflection
for what must've been the first time in ages
did I finally see the results of the experiment
and exposure to such chemicals.
I could feel my body changing and mutating
and now I see the proof before my eyes.
I fear it won't be long before this mutation consumes me.
I may not have long left on this earth,
you are the only one who can hear me now
I shall leave at dawn.
