Hello. The modlist was down, but I've noticed that my reports were going to you, and I've seen you in a few topics. You seem reasonably good about doing your job, and I hoped you could answer a question I have.
I keep seeing this topic; http://www.gaiaonline.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=8599390 at the top of the Site Feedback forum, and while I agree that it is a useful topic, it really isn't suggesting any improvements for the site directly, and seems like it would be better placed in Extended Feedback, or possibly Extended Discussion. I know that the topic has been reported before, and I was curious to know why it never gets moved. I hope that you can take the time to answer this question.

Most of the time, moving things to EF is done very hesitantly. Not a lot of threads get moved there.
I was just wondering because that thread's been around for a while now and is well on it's way to being the longest Site Feedback topic still active right now. I was just wondering if moving it to Extended Feedback, or even making the topic a sticky, wouldn't cut back on how often topics drop off the forum, due to it's no longer being...well, I don't know if you can call it necroed, but certainly brought back from the brink of topic death on a frequent basis.
Also, the fact that it's becoming the longest thread in SF has little bearing on why it should be moved to EF.
In addition, the thread will never be made into a sticky. I'm not even sure how that is relevant.
The sticky thing was just my mental spewing...and I did say that I thought it wasn't necroing. Please don't read false opinons into my comments, I'm sure there are enough there as it is.

Since when did I say that he said it was necroing? I was ******** explaining what necroing was as he seem unsure of what qualifies as necroing. It's pretty damn hypocritical to make assumptions about what I said and tell me not to make assumptions about what he said.
More like if you didn't stop spewing random nonsense on how you think SF and EF work to a SF and EF mod, I'll just leave you and go back to more important uses of my time like ranting my a** off in my journal.

Mental spewing? If it was mental he wouldn't have mentioned it. neutral He didn't say if it was necro or if it wasn't. He said it -could be-.
Even so you were explaining to him the difference between the two: from necroing to posting for a purpose because that's the -purpose- of the thread. To report cyber stuff. If there's nothing to report then it will be buried (or if there are regs helping people).
He probably got mad because you said that sticking the thread was irrelevent. rofl
