yay! valleyfair was quite fun! 3nodding we went with a whole bus-load of kids (I ended up sitting with Cody Abraham I think... O.o), lol more than 10 of which were wearing the same flip-flops that I was... (go Wal-mart) but soon I found out that unless you're a hardcore flipflop fan (most girls were actually... xD), your feet turn to crap walking around in those things... it was kinda funny when we first got there, all the pops went into the bathroom (they by-passed the line and I was like wth?!) and went straight for the mirrors... xD they took up like 3 of the 5 sinks, so it was rather packed in there... idiots. stare
but anyways I was feeling adventurous so I walked around on my own all day! 3nodding there were lots of pros and cons to this strategy (one of which was that when I went on the rides I had to buddy up with people I didn't know... but then again I got to wander around and take as much time as I wanted getting where i wanted to go), but overall it was really fun! 3nodding although next time I might take my mother or a friend to hang around with so I don't have to go on rides alone... that was kinda irritating to have to ask people if I could sit next to them... I also went to some sorta comedy show (somewhat amusing... only half an hour long...) and the imax theater... the imax thinger was kinda pointless... it was about fish in Africa. rolleyes there were lots of aerial shots (but surprisingly they didn't have the effect they usually have when you feel your gut kinda sink when u go over the ledge..) and pretty fish shots (of sardines lol), but it was mostly pointless. I had to kinda guzzle my blue-raspberry smoothie (deliciousness in a cup) to get there in time... they don't allow any food or stuff inside the theater... also when I was wandering around I would occasionally meet up with kids from school and we'd talk for a minute or two then we'd go our separate ways again... rolleyes
the high point of the evening was right before we left. there was a fireworks show! whee I was headed back to the bus (on the FAR SIDE of the parking lot... stare ) when they started going off... where I eventually stopped I was about 200 feet from where they were setting them off so the view was marvelous!!! 3nodding the finale was awesome, too... lotsa sparkler-type ones, then BOOM BOOM BOOM sizzle~ xD lol no other way to describe it...
I would've slept in a lot later, but I figured I'd better get up to watch the boys (lol not like that... probably would end up driving into CC to get them baked crap from the bakery... (burn-time... twisted )) but turns out they were never here... rolleyes anyways we're about to head into willmar to run a bunch of errands so I'd better get off and begin the war for the shower... talk to ya guys later! ^^
