Chapter Five, verse Twenty-seven.
"Obi-Wan never told you what happened to your father."
"He said enough. He told me you killed him!"
And Vader said unto Luke:
"No. I am your father. *Vader-breath*"
Or do you think that would be from the book of Shocking Revelations? Heh heh heh... I'm a little bit Star Wars-hyper today.
My four-panel notebook sketch comic, "Chaos Ramen", has hit its one hundred and thirty-ninth episode, not counting the full-page ones. The 'Ramen Wars Edition' parodies the fourth episode, so our little reading from the book of Skywalker is irrelevant.
Anyway, I just finished writing the equivalent of the duel between Vader and Kenobi, so my mind's a little stuck on that today. Particularly on reasons (Other than the fact that Lucas couldn't find anything else for him to do after Luke and company escape the Death Star) why Ben would allow himself to be struck down by Vader.
Other than some of the more obvious, one guess that I've been working on is that, considering Luke would have charged straight into the lot of Stormies and possibly Vader if he thought there might have been a chance to help, Ben didn't want the galaxy's second-to-last hope to go about possibly getting himself killed. So, in being killed by Vader, Ben sort of conveys the message that Luke is needed elsewhere. Or we could just go with the whole 'give the crew of the Millennium Falcon a chance to escape, become a snazzy blue Force-ghost and pop randomly into Luke's thoughts' thing. Then again, I could just be repeating myself.
I guess it doesn't matter because nobody reads my blogs anyway. Oh, well.

Noccy's Journal of Doom... and really bad fanfics.
Well, this is where you'll find everything you need to know about a bad fanfic author who has a boring life in a boring town. If you all bow down very nicely, I might even sneak in peeks of my humorfics...
