Mobius & Raiza
As Mobius and Raiza walked out of class for the day the intercom came on. “What the hell is it this time?!” yelled Raiza in the hall while a few passing by people stared in concern and confusion as to why someone was randomly yelling in the halls. “God, quit making a scene over small stuff.” Said Mobius, Raiza’s best friend, as they walked to their lockers to grab their homework and put the rest of their stuff away. “Well, that’s like the twelfth announcement they’ve made today, not including advertisements for the school store. I’m just so sick of it.” Raiza complained as they hopped down a staircase and through the cafeteria to the band room. “Yeah, well, it’s not like we can do anything about it.” Mobius responded. “I know! We should tell them just to announce it all at once, like, umm… I know! In the morning! Yeah, that and they could say what’s for lunch that day!” exclaimed Raiza. “It’d be pointless at this time of the year, but a good idea for next year. We only have ten days of school left and it’s not like they would listen to us.” argued Mobius. “Yeah, I suppose, but it’s still a good idea.” Raiza said. “Yeah, it is but still…” Mobius trailed off while they headed up another set of stairs with their instruments and music and outside. While they were walking down the street they saw their friend Kylee running toward them from the other side of the street. “Hey guys, what’s up?” she asked them as they started walking together. “Not much. You?” Both Mobius and Raiza responded at the same time. “Oh, not much going on either for me. I’m just so stoked that we’re only ten days from summer!” Kylee said while jumping up and down in excitement. “Yeah, it’s awesome. I mean we’re in the 8th grade right now, so we’re outta here and gonna be freshmen in high school.” Agreed Mobius. “Well, maybe.” Said Raiza with a despaired look on his face. “Whaddya mean by that?” questioned Mobius with concern. As they crossed the street Raiza yelled back “ I mean I’m failing English and Math and if I don’t pass summer school I’ll be back at that hell-hole! Crap! I’m just so pissed off!”
