A short story for you Get Smart fans - part 2 will be out by monday'ish.
Part1

"Agent 72, come in;" static chokes the receiver as she knocks out another enemy agent. "What is it Stan? I'm almost done here..." she said as she round house kicks another chaos agent to the ground. She looks around satisfied with her work as sparks fly across the demolished chaos lab. "We have another mission for you." "Another mission? This is the 4th mission this week I've ran for you, Can't it wait?" Agent 72 makes it up to the roof and meets the Control helicopter. "Unfortunately it can't, you're the only one who can pull this mission off, Agent 72... We need you to infiltrate Chaos Central Command and obtain the launch codes from their missile silos. Other agents will be enroute to disarm their warheads - but we need those codes should they fail. It's the only way to launch a successful counter attack - You're the only one skilled enough to do this, Agent 72." "Fine, Stan I'll do it! But you owe me big!!!" Agent 72 says shouting over the helicopter engine & opens her mission laptop. Mission Spec’s come pouring in from Control. "I knew I could count on you number 72. As you see the missile silo is heavily guarded - you will need to gain access to their main control room via air vent. Once inside you'll encounter an elaborate security system... you need override the system to gain access to the main computer. Other agents will attempt to distract the main chaos defense squadron to make this easier.” “Easier? Great, thanks Stan.” 72 says as she rolls her eyes. ‘Just great-I’m going to miss putting Bryce to bed.’ She takes out a photo of her and her 4yearold son and smiles. ‘Don’t worry hun; I’ll make it back like always.’

The helicopter lands in an empty field and Agent 72 jumps out; a motorcycle is waiting for her nearby. 72 rides off to Chaos Central… to her next mission & hopefully a well earned vacation. Well maybe not a vacation – but an agent can dream.
