Chapter One: Misery and Darkness

It was dark and cold.There was no human in the world that could save me. All I could remember was being pushed and then falling from above from where i was now. I was guessing that i had broke both my legs, because they sure hurt a lot and i couldnt get up.
My body started to feel numb and i started to fall asleep, and i did. I awoke from a load stomping coming slowly down the stairs.Then i felt a tug at my legs.and i started to be dragged across my basement floor
I looked over toward my legs and saw that there was a short, skinny funny looking man pulling me along. Once we reached the stairs the man yelled up to his partner, Bernie, about how he wasnt helping.
Bernie was a man of very few words, but he was a big,buff, man and tall. And the skinny man's name must have been Mike because thats what his name tag said. I never thought a kidnaper would bring his name tag.
Mike started to complain again about how he had to do all of the hard stuff in the buesness, I asumed kidnaping. And Bernie just stood at the foot of the stairs eating a sandwhich. And Mike just kept blabering on.
I felt a jerk at my legs, and since they were broken, it wasnt too comfortable. Also, when my head hit that first step, I wanted to scream. The combination was unbearable!Then the second step, third, forth, and once my head hit the ninth step, I did scream. It was so loud, it made Mike drop me and I tumbled down the stairs. It even made Bernie drop his half eaten sandwhich. And I drifted off.
I awoke about two minutes later being carried by Big Bernie. I could hear, but not understand a word, Mike blabering on until I heard the words "she's supposed to be dead!" And then I drifted off again.
