Earth


Like the mountainous ridges of the earth
Many fall into cycles of trials and challenges
Every bite from the wolf of darkness
Poisonous and vile to kill you slowly

Defend the thoughts passed down through blood
For in it holds the truths of many lifetimes
Learn them and remember your children
For they will be in need of it more when all else fails

A faithless world will come, everlasting in denial
Forsaken and untold it stands to the masses, it will be consumed
Be strong, keep well, leave not that neck exposed
For every bite a mortal wound for the blood is never free

For in the twilight one can at least rest
The years of storms to be forgotten
But in the end a soul is not without the truth
The predator still waits near waiting to make its kill

The terror surely is the truth
Human nature flaws forever in time
But in spite of many nightmares
All we need is hopes and prayers
