actually I drew this when the teacher was talking about tornados, mostly the one that was going over New Orleans... neutral
Dragonkin, a growing group of lesser dragons as the number of true dragons decreased greatly over time. The elemental and true dragons were now in the place of gods, being both worshiped, respected and feared. Tribes grew around many belives and powers that usally enwolved a dragon of some kind.
One tribe was most known for its strenght and power over the elements it worshiped, their god was the blind dragon of storms. The wingless race of dragonkin, holding the elements of water and wind in the palm of their hands, though only their prests were powerful enough to use them with such force that has now given them a rebutation. For if you combine the two elements, you can create the most terrible of storms that would do such damage and spread terror wherever it would go.
But storms are foces of nature and hard to controle, but easily created. The priests gather when their tribe was threatened or angered, for it took alot for the priest to make such storms go where they wished.
There was one item that was most secrate, the mask of their god, the eye of the storm. The most powerful priest was only trusted to weald its power, and with the power of the mask, he would be able to controle even the most strongest of tornados with great skill and ease.
If the priest was worthy to wear the mask, a jewl that decoraded it, would glow a faint blue glow, as it would transform its wearer into the dragon that they worshiped! But a prest with such power was rarely seen within the tribe, usually there was only one such priest every 100-200 years or so.
^the mask 'eye of the storm'^
