Emrys and Mia found themselves prepared to do battle against one of the most dangerous people in Albert's army: Pandora.

"Emrys...you know her, what's she good at?", asked Mia.

"Well...she's skilled in Ice and Lightning magic...thats all I know.", replied Emrys.

A moment of Silence hung in the air as a cool chill covered the area. "Emrys...", spoke Pandora. "How long has it been since we met?"

"Um...Several Days since the attack on the castle of Alexandria?" Said Emrys.

"Oh, I was thinking about the day of the accident."

"Now that was Five years ago, and it was a total mistake!"

"What did you do?" asked Mia.

"I was target practicing and accidentally missed the target and hit an assassin targeting Pandora...", replied Emrys.

"...AAAAND?"

"I went to check out where it went and found the assailants and started fighting for her life."

"Aww...how strangely romantic...oh and for future references, sentences don't end with those 'dot, dot, dot's."

"Emrys..." started Pandora, gaining their attention again. "I'll give you this one chance to leave this place now and allow me to return the crystal to Master Albert."

"What? Why give ME this chance?!", he asked in amazement.

"Well..its because...I...I...um...", she stammered, blushing.

"Oh, I get it..." said Mia, giggling. "She has a crush on you, Emrys, tee hee!"

"Well, I'm flattered...but I can't leave...my mission is here.", he said.

"I understand. Then I have no choice but to eliminate you." said Pandora.

Suddenly, the air became more freezing cold, and then five bolts of electricity were launched into the air and collided with Mia and Emrys!

The were flung backwards with burning singes on their bodies. Mia then pulled out two arrows and infused them with holy magic , then let loose and fired. The arrows split into seperate smaller arrows and swerved leaving a trail of blue light, homing in on Pandora. In response, Pandora twirled her staff in front of her and vanished, leaving the arrows to explode in contact with the ground. Pandora then reappeared behind them and slammed her hand into the ground unleashing a torrent of ice spikes. Emrys turned and his arms were spread out. He murmured a few silent words of power and then clapped his hands together, sending forth a wave of energy to collide and repel the ice barrage.
Mia, then jumped off his shoulders and fired a large volley of arrows to rain heavenly death upon Pandora. Pandora raised a dome of ice to shield her from this attack. Emrys then took this to his advantage and launched a plume of fire into the Ice dome. It was a direct hit and destroyed the shield...but she wasn't there.

"What the--?!", he thought.

Then an arrow whizzed past his head and a scream of pain was heard behind him. Pandora had been hit with an arrow through her left arm. Out of instinct, Emrys jumped back and held his palms out in front of him, blazing with fire. Mia landed and readied 3 more arrows to fire.

"Your vanishing techniques should be slower now that I disabled your left arm.", declared Mia.

"Yes...but my techniques have grown stronger now that I can focus on one arm.", Pandora said grinning.

Pandora planted her staff in the ground and summoned up a large Ice beast that had the head and tail of a snake but with the body of a human under her control.

"An Ice Elemental?!", exclaimed Emrys.

"Elemental?", asked Mia.

"A creature that has total control over it's designated Element.", he replied. "She must've been extremely weakened with your attack to summon this."

However there was no time to continue talking, as the giant elemental summoned an ice pillar in between them. Mia flung up 5 arrows and launched each of them in a single clean line. They easily pierced through the body as they were infused with magic, leaving clean holes. Emrys' hands unleashed a charged blast of fire resembling a dragon and it collided with the elemental knocking it backwards. Pandora raised her staff and summoned up five ice crystals that fired down icy death needles from above. Emrys muttered a few more words of power and raised his right hand towards the needles. A spiral of blazing fire erupted in between them and the needles. Mia then set her bow and aimed for the staff in Pandora's hands and fired another homing arrow. it swerved around the elemental behind Pandora and shattered the staff. The ice elemental stopped and crumbled away and all the ice faded. The battle was over.

After the crystal was destroyed, Emrys set to work on healing everyones wounds...including Pandora's.

"Why--", She started

"Am I doing this?", he finished. "To be frank, I don't know...It's just...well..."

"Emrys got a crush on you now!", Mia blurted giggling.

He sighed and groaned, but was surprised because it was somewhat true. He didn't want seeing anyone like her be used for evil and pitied the fact. What surprised him even more was the hug he recieved later from her.
