Ha! it's the 4th of July. It's 3 a.m. where I am and my friends and I got a head start on our fireowrks. Problem is they're illegal in our county cuz we're in the middle of a drought so there's a fire ban. Most people do them the night of the 4th and the cops can't get everybody but we were the only ones out this morning. We were riding our bikes to McDonald's and then to the park to launch them but on our way to the park a cop stopped us. Who stops people on bicycles?! It was the K-9 unit too so if he wanted to arrest us he couldn't take us in his car. Anyway he asked us what we were doing and we said "going to a friend's house" and he was like "let me see some ID". I guess to make sure we were 18 or else we would have been past curfew. Since we all were he was like drive safe and left. It pissed me off. We wanted to launch at midnight but that little encounter made us late crying oh well. We still got to light them.
