I dreamed of me and you last night
everything seemed to feel so right
surrounded by some crazy world
where you agreed to be my girl
in excitement for the yes i seek
I awoke even before I could speak
to be greeted by this world unpure
where of where we stand I'm still unsure
my questions for you still stand,
am I ever meant to be your man?
Deep down the truth is I want to know
even if the answers no
the next words I share I swear are true
no matter your choice
I'll be happy for you
because as your friend
