The Story-Teller
The Story-Teller is the holder of every story, ever told. The knower of all and the all knowing. The Story-Teller's color of choice today is purple. Wearing a purple hat, top, shoes, glasses, and cape. Where ever the Story-Teller goes a big book follows, in the hand of the Story-Teller. Every time the book is opened a mystical light shines from it and flows out of the book and forms a spiral around the Story-Teller. Depending on the story, sometimes in the light you can see glimpses of what is being told, and before the Story-Teller starts telling the story, if you look inside the light when the book is opened you can see all: the past, future, the end of time, the beginning of it all, everything, and as soon as it is seen, it is gone. Where ever the Story-Teller is, weather in the year of 1792 or in 2058, or anywhere else, there is always a crowd of people waiting for a story. Today the Story-Teller is in the year 2008. Gathered around the Story-Teller, the people wait for the book to be opened and the story to begin. The Story-Teller sits down and opens the book. At that moment a mystical light shines from it. Everyone staring at the light just then saw everything, and in the blink of an eye, it’s all gone. The light flows out and spirals around the Story-Teller. When the light spirals all the way to the ground, a mystical ring of purple flame settles at the Story-Tellers feet. Something always comes with the light, out of the book, never knowing what, till it appears. What ever it is, it gives a clue as to what kind of story is going to be told. The crowd started talking among themselves telling each other what they thought the story would be about. One said "It is going to be about a great wizard.” Another said "No, it will be about a big purple dragon that breathes purple fire." Everyone was saying different things till the Story-Teller began to speak. Once the first word was muttered everyone fell silent, as if a spell was cast upon them.
