Start of Ch. 2 The next few days at school were long. Sarah thought Mike, her boyfriend, bit her too hard the night before the incident. Police investigators came in and out of nikkis house not believing nither of there stories of a paisty white guy with a mouth full of fangs. Nikkis arm was lightly bandaged and was already puting itself together. more rumors spread around school about nikki. her graids started to slip from her grasp and she had a weard fealing that she was being watched by something or someone. several times she thought jake was behind her but everytime she turned around nothing was there. the stormy night kept playing in her head. after a while of thinking, she realise jake was just trying to proctect her and cair for her in his own weard way. a nearby bat schreached from a tree makeing nikki jump a little on the way home from detention. the clouds covered most of the sun in a grey blob casting her into shadow. a shiver ran up her spine from the coldness so she took a shortcut threw a woodland park home. a group of boys were smokeing when one pointed over to her direction. they all smiled before heading to 'meet' the new girl. a slight ruffle came frrom the bush infround of her but she kept on walking not takeing knowtice of it. "ey there pritty, whacha doin in the woods?" one of the boys said lying his hand on her lower back. nikki turned around shakeing his hand off the others boxed her in the middle of them waiting, watching the same guy pull her closer to his body. nikki tried to push away the boy, but she was to weak. his hand went up her skirt n started to pull off her underwere, as anouther bat schreeched louldy and a low growl followed after. nikki tried kicking an punching but he wouldnt let go of her. as soon as she heard the growl she stoped moveing completey her heart skiped a few beats wondering if jake was there or not.
