Description:
A rather athletic and slim looking individual Raitei can easily be mistaken as an Elf or a very beautiful Human. The traits of both human and elf are evident in his appearance, his pointed ears and his grace-like posture is that of an elf while his sheer power and ferocity can be attributed to his human side. The one thing that distinguishes him from both races are the strange tattoos and runes that are inscribed upon his body. The slim warrior carries a single crystal blue Katana like weapon and is donned in green light armor, that varies from a dark shade to a light one. Raitei also wears a green hood, he is somewhat ashamed of his tattoos and tries to hide them as much as possible. He stands around 5'7-5'9, he isn't an overly tall individual but he is a very dangerous person in a fight.
Personality:
Usually a very friendly person Raitei tends to be a person who would go out of his way to help anyone in trouble, considered by his closest friends and allies as a true warrior who follows the codes of honor. Raitei also tends to get very confused around beautiful women, which usually means beautiful women are his weakness when it comes to any social gatherings. Though when push comes to shove Raitei exhibits phenomenal leadership abilities and manages to fight and lead men into victory even against dangerous odds.
Raitei also has a dangerous side to him. If anything (person or situational experience) causes either extreme traumatic stress or life-threatening injurries Raitei reverts to his darker and more powerful persona. In this persona Raitei dons a destructive personality. A machine of pure combat Raitei will fight at a level far more violent and savage than what he usually fights at when normal. Though even in this form Raitei will never hurt his friends. The only known way to actually stop Raitei in this persona is when he kills his opponents, but even after his opponents death Raitei tends to stay in his dark persona for a while.
BIO:
Raitei Rasarai is but a title to this warrior. The term "Raitei" translated actually means "Lightning Lord". His name is simply Rasarai, though many people just call him Rai out of respect for his title. Born in the small village of Troidan in the land of Aerynth Raitei grew up with the stigmata of being an Aelfborn. Neither belonging to both Elf or Human Raitei was considered an outcast. The only people that actually cared for him was his father who taught him basic sword skills. At the age of 12 his village was ransacked and destroyed by monsters, Raitei was the only one to survive due to the fact he had been outside the village hunting a wild boar.
Alone and angry beyond any reason Raitei became a rampant mercenary. Every kill he got with his sword, whether they were beasts, monsters or actual sentient beings fed into his darkside. Somewhere between the ages of 15 and 17 Raitei came into contact with a being only known as "Ranger". The man knew about Raitei's already dark persona and the 2 fighters fought. Though Raitei was fighting with the pure intention of killing his opponent Ranger won. Raitei, finally defeated after so many years regained his normal persona and was finally allowed himself to grieve.
For the next 10 years Raitei was taught the secret art of the "Jenetai". A sword art that was said to be the greatest sword art of Aerynth. Whilst learning the legendary art Raitei had acquired the skills to become a Ranger Knight. A Knight who defended the world with the use of Nature. After the completion of his training Raitei had acquired the title "Blademaster" and was given a new name, Raitei Rasarai.
Raitei was given the name "Lightning Lord" due to his uncanny ability to generate electricity. The main reason he was so powerful before learning the Jenetai art was due to the fact he could summon electrical attacks in his fight style and move at lightning speed. Ranger gave him the name Raitei to signify his talents in the manipulation of pure lightning.
For the next 20 or so years Raitei found himself in the service of a man known as King Steven, King of Dragonscale. In a few short years Raitei became one of the legendary champions of the empire of Dragonscale and fought alongside his king against the Deathless Empire and the Braveheart Empires. Even with the steady decline of the Dragonscale Empire Raitei fought bravely to defend it. He even managed to create an elite fighting core which was known as the Legion of Chaos. His best friend Kyo a great swordsman and his half sister Rabbit Xa'iel (an elf bladeweaver) co-captained the legion with Raitei and led many successful campaigns against Dragonscales enemies.
Though around his 50th or so birthday Raitei found that the existance of Aerynth was in trouble. A force of unimaginable size descended upon Aerynth, they were spawns of darkness, demons would be a simplistic term for them. The empires of the land of Aerynth united against the invasion but were simply overcome. Raitei and his Legion fought to the last man but even with the legendary skill of Raitei, the whirlwind speed of his sister Rabbit and Kyos ferocity soon all of Aerynth was lost. In the last hope of stemming the tide of darkness King Steven unleashed the greatest magic known on Aerynth, which successfully stemmed the enemy attack but also destroyed all of Aerynth. Within days the entire continent of Aerynth had sunk beneath the waves and Raitei was separated from his friends and family.
Raitei soon found himself on Tierra not because he was searching for his family and friends, but because the man who caused Aerynth to be destroyed was on this land somewhere. Raitei vowed he would hunt this man down and destroy him, whoever he was.

Weapons:
Raitei wields a blade known as the "Jenetai" A blade similar to the Katana it is a weapon that has been enchanted to help utilize Raitei's lightning abilities in combat. Made from enchanted Godsteel the blade actually reflects the fighting spirit of Raitei, meaning should Raitei be defeated badly or killed the blade will break or suffer damage. Raitei's skill in the use of this blade is legendary, hence the title given to him by both his first master and his old king, the title of "Blademaster".
Magic:
Raitei possesses abilities that can be classed as magic. Raitei possesses the ability to generate electricty and move at lightning speed. The Electric attacks can vary from 50 000 volts to something over 2 million in his darker persona. His lightning speed is attributed to both his training and his lightning enhanced aura.
Due to his ranger training Raitei possess uncanny levels of regeneration, his ability to heal after most physical attacks is truly remarkable though under his darker persona this ability is heightened even more. Raitei also has the ability to track and detect lifeforms or energy levels at a fair distance, though it roughly ranges from 500 metres to 2 or 3 kilometres.
From his Ranger Knight training Raitei has the ability to transform into a large wolf. This wolf form has the same power levels and battle abilties of that if his darker persona but in wolf form he is in control. He is able to strike harder, move faster and regenerate faster.
In his darker persona Raitei's power explodes with a vengeance. Able to produce high amounts of electrical force Raitei's abilities are doubled and even trippled under this persona. In this form Raitei moves like lightning and strikes hard enough to smash and slice through nearly all forms of defense. Raitei's darker persona has the ability to gain power from the very nature around him. Plants, animals, bugs even the air grant him a portion of their power, which in turn gives Raitei a phenomenal battlepower in his darker persona. The only drawback to this form is that if Raitei remains to long in this persona, his old self will disappear...and only the battle machine bent on destroying anything in his path will remain.
Job:
Raitei's old job was to defend the Empire of Dragonscale as one of their legendary Knights. Now that he is on Tierra, he has taken it upon himself to defend the land from the enemy. This means he has returned to his previous job, to be a Ranger Knight.

Raitei sometimes turns into his wolf form in order to let pretty ladies pet him
