I have nothing important to say, so I won't say anything important. Compare to . . . you know, that must have been another journal. Compare to possible angry reactions to last election year. I couldn't really have mentioned much about what I did last election year towards getting Inez Tenenbaum (sp? don't remember or care) elected. There's something I'd like to forget. When I showed up to help at the local Democratic whatsit, I thought I'd be campaigning for John Kerry. Nope.

They had some people from the Dem party up in Massachusetts to help organize things, but had already decided that working on the presidential election in South Carolina would be a waste. Something like that. So I got to help conservative Democrat Inez Tenenbaum. Oh, yay.

Beyond voting, I don't think I can bring myself to care until I move back to North Carolina. I'm voting for Barak Obama. As the media would expect me, a young white woman, to do. Seriously. One has to go by the facts. Platforms.

I don't care about getting a woman in office. I'd rather be voting for Mike Gravel. I care about getting a liberal in office. Barak Obama isn't really that, but he's a better choice than Hillary Clinton, who is still a better choice than John McCain.

I am having PG Tips with milk. And I finally bought some clotted cream. Yummy. I wish I'd bought more than a tiny sample jar. If I have toast with cream and preserves every morning, I'm going to run out before I can get more. Nevermind if I have it for my afternoon snack, too. Now that I've finally cleaned the soap out of my tea maker, I'm going to run out of milk, too.

I was almost sorry to Adblock it. No worse than I've seen before. I don't know if it was part of the supposed *chan raid or just a couple of normal trolls. I think one was a scammed account. Yay! For once, I haven't missed everything.
