The Second & Third Personality
“Holy Freakin’ Crap!!” I screamed while running down the hall to hug Gena. “What the heck Cal?” Gena said with a confused look on her face. “It’s ‘Happy Freakin’ Day’, don’t you freakin’ remember!?”. It had been two weeks since my unexpected new friend came about me and I was easily getting used to it, and the new maturity…sorta. “See the thing with ‘Happy Freakin’ Day’ is that ya gotta say ‘freakin’ in every sentence!”. It was a random holiday that I had decided to make up since me and my friend had a “freakin’ contest” once. “Well happy freakin’ day to you too XD” Gena said with a slight snicker in her voice.
Once Gena and I were done, we were separated into our classes like usual. Not knowing I was about to meet the next contestant on “Scare the crap outta Callie by popping in her head”. The second one was an absolute given, though most of my friends would probably just sneer at that remark. “MCNUGGET!” my Social Studies teacher yelled, for since I wasn’t paying attention, I had to answer the random question. “Uhhh…mmm”. I looked down at my paper to see if I could answer the question, but before I could, somewhere in my conscience I heard “The answer is the Berlin Wall”.
“Is it the Berlin Wall?” My teacher looked at me and gasped “YES! Finally someone got it right, you guys should be more like Callie”. I blushed and just tried doing my work again, but I pondered back to who the voice might have been. “Meet your newest companion, Rosetta…I’m guessing you probably know what she’s all about”. It was Kit, but she had still answered my question to the random event that happened before.
“…Is that who that was? She’s good; she must be my intelligent side that ACTUALLY pays attention XD”. I snickered accidently and everyone around who heard looked at me completely confused.
A couple periods passed by and it was finally time to go home. But something told me, that Rosetta wasn’t the only one who was going to be a surprise visitor. She was supposedly “still sleeping” from what Kit had said and her “capsule hadn’t yet opened, but it was ready at any moment”. I had absolutely no idea what they were talking about she just said “You’ll find out later, once we’re all in contact with you”.
Things at school the next day weren’t going to well, and I could tell that something must be going on with me. “Yeeeaahhh…..incase ya haven’t noticed…your becoming a woman! XD”. “WHAT!?” I accidently yell out. Mrs. Morelle turns and shushes me. “What the heck are you talking about baka?”. “I’m saying your getting older by the minute since you’re a teen now. And you might wanna think about goin’ home, I think your about to throw up” she made a nasty face from what I could feel and made me shoot my hand up in the air. “Ummm…” I walked over to Mrs. Morelle. “..Can I go to the nurse, I’m feeling absolutely terrible.” I put the fakest look I ever had on my face. I was really good at lying, since I had the practice when I was younger. My mom even sometimes can’t believe me since my ‘truth face’ now looks like my ‘lying face’.
I ended up going home and getting quite emotional about this whole thing. I almost felt as if I was being sucked into a black hole…and then it happened. With the darkness enshrouding me, I felt another side of me being born. She bowed gracefully as she came out of the darkness, but stumbled a bit.
“…I…am Luna”.
